This is not merely entertainment. This is food for the soul. The messages in Shen Yun are deeply significant and spiritual messages not to be forgotten in the afternoon or later in the day after the performance. Or forever, for that matter.DR. CARL J. MELVILLE II, April 2018

Wonderful show! Humanity must support the preservation of all ancient cultures across the world from Europeans, Asians, Africans and North/South Americas. This is a prime example of how it should be done and stop the evils of commie Marxism who want to suppress the ancient heritages of the world.Gary J HO VISTO SHEN YUN A Vancouver (Queen Elizabeth Theatre), March 2018

My mother and I saw Shen Yun for the second time. My favorite dance numbers were "Han Dynasty Sleeves", "Awakening" (I wonder, will there be a dance number, that features Bhaisajyaguru/Medicine Buddha, the Glazed Paradise, and the two bodhisattvas of sunlight and moonlight? If not for any reason, then I'll understand), the Hmong ethnic dance "In the Mountains" (I was wondering why I heard jingling sounds behind the curtain before it lifted to reveal their source), "Ladies of the Qing Dynasty" (similar to "Manchurian Elegance"?), "A Touch of Paradise" (nice Tang Dynasty dresses), "Elegance in the Middle Kingdom" (even if I didn't remember the details), and "Archery in Another Dimension" (for some reason, dance numbers featuring Taoist abodes or themes are my apparent favorite). It was strange seeing the dancers hold cellphones with touching-screens as part of the dance number "The Divine Renaissance Begins".Esther Brown HO VISTO SHEN YUN A Boise (Morrison Center for the Performing Arts), March 2018
